Exploring Your Relationship with Money 10th May 2010 Lesley Pugh Lesley Pugh has worked as a coach and facilitator in commercial and public sector organisations for over 20 years. A constant area of interest has been the power of the beliefs we hold about ourselves, others and the world around us. She wants to understand how people and organisations can create a more satisfying place for themselves in the world. Her interest in running the above workshop stemmed from seeing that whilst money played an important role in shaping her own life, she had never consciously looked what that role was. In sharing this approach she hopes that you will be able to make more satisfying choices around money. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Using Bach Flowers in a Homeopathic Practice 14 June 2010 Tessa Jordan The Bach Flower remedies are an ideal support in a homeopathic practice, to help move patients on who may have emotional blocks to cure. In this talk, Tessa will explore the links between Homeopathy and the flower remedies, consider how we can integrate the remedies into our practice, offer case examples, cover some of the remedies in more depth and work through a few case studies brought by the group as a way of showing practically how we may choose between offering a homeopathic or a flower remedy .... or both! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DRUG TOXICITY: A MODERN HOMEOPATH’S PROBLEM 13 September Ellen Kramer This 1½ hour talk will introduce participants to the unique way tautopathic remedies help to remove the ill effects of allopathic drugs and chemical toxins. We will look at gentle ways to withdraw from complicated drug regimes, drug interactions and malnutrition from long term drug use. ______________________________________________________________________________________ ‘Unearthing the Hidden Maintaining Cause’ 11 October 2010 Colin Griffiths Unearthing hidden maintaining causes is a neglected part of practice. By the time we have checked up on physical and emotional trauma, miasms and drug or vaccine damage we tend to start blaming ourselves if remedies seem to fail. Yet there is still a way to go in digging into a patient's past before beating ourselves up. Physical, mental and emotional trauma may well have been dealt with in the mind and the heart but still be a problem for the physical body; ancestry may well be forgotten but it is still worth looking into inherited characteristics that betray links to forebears that left future generations to seek resolution; current family dynamics can easily divert the curative energy of even the best selected remedies....and more! Looking at the heart of some of the new remedies can lead to uncovering aspects of cases that may have made them seem impossible. Olive, Senecio + Tyria, Jet and Peridot are among others that have been proving useful in the practice of healing archaeology. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BEHAVIOURAL MATERIA MEDICA Monday - 08TH November 2010- Dr. Subrata K. Banerjea Dr. Subrata K Banerjea is in the process of writing a book called Behavioural Materia Medica. He will discuss his research into the relationship between peoples personalities, appearances and postures with that of remedy pictures. His book aims to look at how people talk during the consultation process, how they make or change appointments: understanding the ‘essence’ to diagnose the personality type. The importance of observation in diagnosis is often overlooked but Dr. Subrata K Banerjea aims to help us develop our observational skills so we can diagnose and prescribe more rapidly and easily with his insights and tips in mind. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
